2. Acceptable Use Policy & Restrictions
ZoneSanity is a public technical observability platform. To safeguard the stability of underlying perimeter DNS resolvers, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Abusive Automation: Mass query generation via scripts or unauthorized automated bots.
- DDoS / Flooding Attacks: Attempts to overload scanner APIs or DNS resolution backend infrastructure.
- Rate Limit Bypassing: Unauthorized circumvention of request rate-limiting controls.
3. Technical Disclaimer ("AS IS" Provision)
Technical reports are dynamically generated by querying authoritative nameservers and public reputation feeds. ZoneSanity does not warrant absolute infallibility of audit reports nor assume liability for operational decisions executed based on generated data.
4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall service operators be held liable for email delivery outages, IP reputation degradation, or misconfigurations resulting from modifications implemented by administrators to their DNS zones.
